The committee confirmed video of former Lawyer Basic William Barr’s closed-door deposition, the place Barr stated merely that Trump’s claims was “bullshit.”

Barr, who resigned in December 2020, stated a part of the explanation that he left the Trump administration was due to the false claims of fraud Trump was making.

“I made it clear that I didn’t agree with the thought of claiming the election was stolen and placing out these items, which I instructed the President was bullshit,” Barr stated within the deposition.

Barr introduced publicly on December 1, 2020, that the Justice Division had not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud. His feedback enraged Trump, and Barr he resigned a number of weeks later. 

Barr was changed by then-acting Lawyer Basic Jeffrey Rosen, who was subjected to a strain marketing campaign by Trump and his allies to throw the Justice Division’s assist behind Trump’s false claims of voter fraud.
